Fred Dawson Bsc Hons, MSRP, CRadP, LRPS

In June 2014 I moved from Kingston southwest London to the Isle of Wight. I reactivated my Amateur Radio license after a period of 20 years. I had passed the RAE in the 1980s which entitled me to a Class B license however over the years things have changed and I now have a full amateur radio license. I joined the RSGB as a SWL in 1977 and was a long standing member of Sutton and Cheam Radio Society. Where I took part in field days and gave lectures.  In the 1980s  Ihad an FRG 7000 SW receiver FT762R, FT 290, FT 690, PYE Westminster.  I now run a Kenwood TS2000X FT200 FT991 FT1D

Things other than Amateur Radio

I have a keen interest in photography and I hold a distinction from the Royal Photographic Society  Licentiateship of the RPS.
