Covid - 19. Some thoughts for radio cubs

With the Covid-19 infection moving out of the containment to the epidemic phase consideration needs to given to when it would be approximate to cancel club meetings and events to limit the risk of transmission.
​
Radio amateurs are generally in the older age groups and may also have preexisting medical conditions and as a consequence of this, if infected are at a greater risk of more severe outcome.
​
Clubs are often held on shared premises and could form a focal point for onward transmission of infection through person to person contact and contaminated surfaces etc.
​
Consideration should also be given to asking members who have been to areas where significant infection is present to avoid coming to club for a period of at least two weeks
